Why use a prepaid callingcard?

If your long distance service is very good overall but there is one location that you call often and want a lower rate a phonecard is a good choice.There are callingcards with great rates to international locations as well. A lot of long distance plans do not include the "good" rates to these locations and require you to "pay" for the international plan. A calllingcard might be a good choice.
How about people with roommates?
Keeping track of who made what call and then collecting the money from everyone is a pain. By not having long distance service on your phone and requiring everyone to use a callingcard will eliminate a lot of these headaches.
